TATA IPL Fan Parks 2026 Phase 2 to Expand Across 30 Cities in Major Nationwide Push

Building a bridge between the Indian Premier League and their fans outside of the stadiums, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced Phase 2 of TATA IPL Fan Parks 2026. Phase two will massively scale up the initiative, reaching over 30 cities in 18 states and one Union Territory, creating one of the largest outreach programs in the league’s history.

This extension coming as a complement to Phase 1, which had already telecast the IPL experience across 15 cities in 11 states. With Phase 2, the BCCI wants fans from smaller towns or regions with no match venue to experience the excitement of the tournament in a vibrant and stadium-like environment.

Expanding the IPL Experience Nationwide

However, the IPL Fan Park was launched so as to bring the game closer to fans who can’t make it to a stadium. These parks serve as outdoor venues where matches are shown live on giant screens, alongside entertainment and interactive activities.

Phase 2 of the 2026 edition is likely to reach out to more than double the number in terms of access across India. This expansion signifies the IPL’s increasing popularity and the league’s dedication to inclusivity and fan engagement.

The new expansion will now span across North, South, East, West, and Central India in a well-distributed coverage. This echoes prior seasons in which Fan Parks were established throughout dozens of cities to incentivise fan involvement and enthusiasm.

Building on a Successful First Phase

Besides, the phase 1 coverage of Fan Parks is already running in 15 cities, Meerut, Mysuru, Nagpur, and Bhubaneswar, to name a few, since early March 2026. The events, which took place over three weekends, saw significant fan engagement.

The initial phases have done very well, and the success is directly related to boosting the Phase-2 expansion. Due to the increased demand and positive response from fans, the BCCI has decided to scale up this initiative to connect with an even larger number of cricket lovers.
