Naseem Shah is a promising Pakistani fast bowler who is capable of bowling with tremendous pace and swing in excess of 90mph. Born on 15 February, 2003 in Peshawar, Shah gained international attention after becoming Test cricket’s youngest debutant at the age of 16 vs Australia in 2019. Shah’s bowling quickly established him as a leading talent with maturity for his age and he became one of the youngest fast bowlers to take five wickets on debut. Australia had very little answer to Shah’s consistent pace and nuisance throughout his Test career. He has played for Pakistan in all formats, making appearances for the national side in high profile matches across all formats. Naseem undoubtedly brings constant sustained performances, youth and vigor that is indispensable to Pakistan’s bowling attack.
